After leading Cagayan Valley to a runner-up finish in the Aspirants’ Cup, the Fil-Tongan big man was unable to solve the puzzle that was Hapee, as Cebuana Lhuillier bowed out of the competition in the semifinals after three grueling games.

And he’s taking the hard lessons from the D-League with him as he makes the jump to the pros.

“I learned to just continue to play through it. You have to work hard and continue to do your thing. There will be people with you and a lot against you, but you just got to make sure to get everything you want and you don’t want to leave anything in the table,” said Tautuaa.
