As Oscar De La Hoya considers a potential comeback in the ring, Manny Pacquiao gave the Golden Boy one piece of advice: if you can still fight, go for it.

Pacquiao said there was nothing wrong in fighting again at 42 years old if Dela Hoya feels he still has something left in the tank.

“He can still do it if he still has that hunger in him as a boxer.”

Floyd Mayweather Jr., whom Pacquiao lost to via unanimous decision last May, challenged De La Hoya to come out of retirement and fight him in September in what could be a rematch of their 2007 bout.

“Look, I’m retired, I’m happy, I’m content. I’m never coming back. I’m gonna continue growing Golden Boy,” De La Hoya said in an Instagram post after Money called him out.
