NBA: Timberwolves pick Kentucky’s Towns as top draft pick

Minnesota selected Karl-Anthony Towns as the number one pick in the 2015 NBA Draft Friday (Manila time) as the Kentucky big man is set to fortify the Timberwolves’ front court.

Towns join Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins, the top pick in the last two drafts, in Minnesota and is expected to be mentored by Kevin Garnett.

D’Angelo Russell went second to the Los Angeles Lakers, and was followed by Jahlil Okafor at third to the Philadelphia 76ers.
