Frank Kaminsky poses with Commissioner Adam Silver after being selected ninth overall by the Charlotte Hornets in the First Round of the 2015 NBA Draft at the Barclays Center on June 25, 2015 in the Brooklyn borough of New York City.

For someone who’s had a resume full of gaudy accolades, Frank Kaminsky has been blessed in his collegiate career.
And as he makes the jump to the pros, he’s going to have another huge opportunity ahead of him: working out with His Airness himself.
Drafted by the Charlotte Hornets at ninth, Kaminsky is excited to work out with Hornets owner Michael Jordan and promises that he’ll be a diligent student of the “best basketball player who ever lived.”
“He’s the best basketball player who ever lived. Obviously, I’m very excited for the opportunity to play under him,” he said via Cisco Telepresence on Friday.

“I can learn a lot from him. He knows what he’s talking about when it comes to basketball so when he speaks, I’m definitely going to listen.”
Named as the National Player of the Year, Kaminsky is proud of his accomplishments which he credited for the big boost in his morale going into the Draft.
“Winning Player of the Year in college gave me a lot of confidence coming into the Draft and to the workouts. I think it really shows by me going to the top ten in the Draft,” he said.
However, the Wisconsin big man said that though he’s been a heralded recruit in this pool, he wants to make his own mark in the NBA.
“I want to forge my own path. I want to go out there and work as hard as I can and be as good as I can. I want to have a long career and I’m willing to do whatever I can do to make it happen,” Kaminsky said.

On Friday’s (Manila time), NBA Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves, selected Kentucky big man Karl-Anthony Towns as the top pick. IDL
