Parks goes undrafted, gets invite to Mavs’ summer league team

Sixty names were called in the 2015 NBA Draft, yet there wasn’t any mention of the name Bobby Ray Parks Jr.

After working out with Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, and Dallas Mavericks, the son of seven-time PBA Best Import Bobby Parks was left undrafted Friday (Manila time) in the annual rookie selection at Barclays Center.

Player agent Charlie Dy said on Twitter that Parks had a chance to be taken by the Mavs at number 52, but Dallas ultimately went with Indian giant Satnam Singh.

Parks, though, will still have a crack at his NBA dream, as the Mavs gave him an invite to join the team’s summer league squad. AU
