Gallent rules Oakley Golf Cup
Jorge Gallent, one of the assistant coaches of San Miguel Beer in the PBA, fired a two-under-par 70 recently to rule the 3rd Oakley Golf Cup for the second straight year at Sherwood Hills in Trece Martires.
Gallent topped the centerpiece division by two shots over Jeffred Bernaldez, who fired a 72, then nipped former pro and Orchard manager Raymund Sangil in a countback.
A hundred players saw action in the tournament held to help raise funds for The Junior Golfers League (TJGL), the grassroots tournament of the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines.

Henry Batanones shot a 73 and claimed the Class C crown over William Lim, who shot a 74. Gio dela Paz and Cox Chua were third and fourth after a 75 and 76, respectively.
Grace Montilla won the Ladies Division by a shot with a 75 over Alex Montemayor, with Susan San Pascual shooting a 76 for third place.
