Pachanga stuns Global with draw
Pachanga dealt Global’s title hopes a massive blow by holding the reigning champion to a 1-1 stalemate Monday night even as Stallion rose to second spot in the United Football League at Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Facing a team that has won only twice this season, Global looked a shadow of the team that won the league last season, needing a late strike from Jason de Jong to rescue a point.
Not even the return of Misagh Bahadoran, who came in at halftime could spark Global, which struggled to carve out scoring chances.
