Fajardo: Rain or Shine prepared its defense for me
As June Mar Fajardo stepped on the parquet floor of Smart Araneta Coliseum for game 1 of the semifinals, he was expecting the best out of Rain or Shine’s bruisers.
Then Beau Belga hit him, threw him off his game, and Fajardo later found himself sitting on the bench with two fouls in the first quarter.

Fajardo, the defending MVP from San Miguel, managed to put up six points in the first quarter but his team was down big, 43-19 early.
He admitted the Painters had their defense set and he was the unlucky target of the bruising duo of Belga and JR Quiñahan.

Fortunately for San Miguel, Fajardo found his groove and finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks.
Unfortunately for the Painters, they allowed San Miguel to score 34 points on them in the third en route to a 101-95 loss. CFC
