Amid lingering breakup speculations over the past months, Ateneo basketball star Kiefer Ravena on Thursday confirmed his split with La Salle Lady Spiker Mika Reyes, a report by Philippine Entertainment Portal said.
Asked on the status of their relationship, Ravena said: “Well, hindi na kami.”
Ravena, however, refused to disclose details regarding the breakup.
“But the story regarding how it happened, I don’t want to talk about that,” he told entertainment reporters.
A hesitant Ravena made the confirmation in a press conference for a new television show.
“I’m just not in the position to talk about it. It’ll be better if it comes from her,” he said.
Ravena also denied rumors that a third party was the cause of the split, particularly actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
“That’s new. Jas and I, I think we go along well. We’re good friends. We’re schoolmates for a year and there’s nothing more than that,” he added. Yuji Gonzales
