Checkmate Saturday-only clinic starts today

MILO Checkmate’s Saturdays-only clinics that kicked off June 7 is still on going, with classes at the following venues: San Sebastian grade school (8-11 a.m.); Starmall Edsa Shaw 2F event area in Mandaluyong (10 a.m.-1 p.m.); and Alabang Town Center near Toby’s (1:30-4:30 p.m.).

The clinic is open to kids who are 7-16 years old. It consist of seven consecutive Saturday sessions with six chess lessons, practice games and a tournament. Courses offered are for beginners, intermediate and advance.
