Give him a hell yeah!

WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his much awaited return to the ring, but this time, it’s only digital.

The Texas Rattlesnake has been given the honor of being the cover superstar of WWE 2K16, following the footsteps of former rival Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (WWE 2K14) and John Cena (WWE 2K15).

“It caught me completely off-guard. I figured I’ve been gone for such a long time, it’s been a while,” said Austin in an interview to WWE.com. “To get that phone call and be on the cover of what’s going to be the biggest, baddest video game that’s ever been, with the roster and all the technology, and to be out in the ring for so many years means a lot to me.”

Austin, a six-time WWE Champion, retired from in-ring action in 2003. He has made sporadic appearances throughout the years and has ventured in acting, playing the lead role in The Condemned in 2007 and supporting roles in The Longest Yard and The Expendables.

He has been enshrined to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2009.

Austin leads the 120 playable superstars and divas, from past and present, in the video game which is the largest roster in the company’s video game history.

WWE 2K16 will be released internationally on October 30.
