ALA sets October US card
CEBU CITY—ALA Promotions will make its initial foray in the United States this October to pave the way for a scheduled four-fight card next year.
Michael Aldeguer, president of the country’s top boxing outfit, bared this to Manila-based scribes Friday during a dinner at the family rest house in Danao City he and father Tony tendered for WBO president Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel and officials involved in Pinoy Pride 31: Clash of World Champions slated here last night.
Among those expected to be included in ALA’s card in the US set at Stubhub Center in Carson, California, is Mark Magsayo who was fighting Mexican Rafael Reyes for the International Boxing Federation Youth featherweight title last night.
