Baser Amer out for three months
After losing to rival Colegio de San Juan de Letran on Thursday, San Beda College gets hit with another bad news the day after.
Star guard Baser Amer will be out of action for at least two to three months after dislocating his right shoulder in the game against the Knights, as per Red Lions team manager Jude Roque.
Amer reinjured his shoulder after hacking Letran guard Mark Cruz in the second quarter, which resulted to an unsportsmanlike foul whistled at him.
Article continues after this advertisementThe Davao native is already nursing the injury in the preseason, which he hurt in the PBA D-League Finals with Hapee Fresh Fighters.
Coach Jamike Jarin will now have to rely on Ryusei Koga and Radge Tongco for the point guard duties for San Beda as Amer starts his rehab.
