Add another MVP to June Mar Fajardo’s trophy collection.
The San Miguel Beer center Fajardo was named Finals MVP after helping the Beermen complete a four-game sweep of the Alaska Aces.
Fajardo thanked God and the fans for supporting the team throughout the Beermen’s tough journey to their second title this season and 21st overall.
The 25-year-old Fajardo saved his best for last with 19 points and 21 rebounds to lead San Miguel Beer to a 91-81 victory over Alaska in Game 4 Friday night.
Fajardo lifted his second consecutive MVP earlier in the 2015 Leo Awards where he was also named to the All-Defensive Team, Mythical First Team and Sportsmanship Awardee.
The 6-foot-10 gentle giant averaged 16.7 points, 17.2 rebounds 2.0 blocks per game in Finals.
