Cedo gains Last 32 of US Girls golf

OKLAHOMA—Annika Cedo outlasted fellow Filipino Louise Kaye Go, 1-up, Wednesday (Thursday in Manila) to barge into the Final 32 of the US Girls’ Junior Championship at Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa. Cedo sealed a clash with China’s He Muni, a 5-and-4 winner over Simar Singh, for a place in the Last 16 of this championship won by the Philippines’ Princess Superal last year over Marijose Navarro of Mexico. Another Filipino, Pauline del Rosario, bowed to American Angel Yin, 4 and 2.
