Tey Teodoro finally bucked his poor shooting and carried JRU to its first winning streak in the NCAA Season 91 men’s basketball tournament with a 75-60 victory over Lyceum at the San Juan Arena Friday.
“Finally, Tey’s slump ended. This is what I’m waiting for from him,” said coach Vergel Meneses, as the Heavy Bombers improved to 3-2.

Teodoro exploded for 16 straight points in the payoff period to finish with 25 points on a 4-of-11 shooting from beyond the arc, to go with seven rebounds and four assists.

 
Paolo Pontejos added 10 markers, all in the first half, while Mark Dela Virgen got nine points in the win.

 
Joseph Gabayni paced Lyceum (1-4) with 15 points and seven rebounds, while Jean Nguidjol got 13 markers in the defeat. IDL
