ANNIKA Cedo ousted two higher-seeded rivals to barge into the quarterfinal round of the US Girls’ Junior at Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday. The 16-year-old Cedo fought back from two holes down with two birdies on the last five holes of her Round-of-32 clash with No. 2-ranked Chinese He Muni to win after 21 holes. Cedo then bested No. 15 Gina Kim of North Carolina, 4 and 3, to book a place in the Final 8 of the championship won by Princess Superal last year.
