Far Eastern University hardly broke a sweat in disposing of Polytechnic University of the Philippines, 25-16, 25-14, 25-14, in the Shakey’s V-League Season 12 Collegiate Conference on Saturday at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
Bernadeth Pons led all scorers with 13 points while guest player Jovelyn Gonzaga only played in the first two sets and had 10 points for the Lady Tamaraws, who hiked their record to 3-0.
“The team’s performance was okay but we have to improve and play better against our next opponents in UP and NU,” said FEU coach Shaq delos Santos.
The Lady Radicals were just overmatched with only four players able to score behind Syra Jane Romo’s measly seven points. PUP dropped to 0-3.
