Gilas cadets declare for 2015 PBA Rookie Draft

Three more Gilas cadets have signified their intention to go to the pros as Troy Rosario, Scottie Thompson, and Almond Vosotros have applied for the 2015 PBA Rookie Draft.

All three passed their applications at the PBA Office in Libis on Monday afternoon, adding more star power to the already talented rookie pool.

Rosario steered the NU Bulldogs to the UAAP championship last year and has been pegged as one of the most sought after big men in this batch.

He is expected to be one of the top selections in the Draft alongside Fil-Tongan big man Moala Tautuaa.

Thompson, meanwhile, had a meteoric rise last year, being named as the Most Valuable Player in the NCAA Season 90 after exemplary showing with the Perpetual Help Altas.

Vosotros is one of the most lethal sharp-shooters in this year’s Draft, as evidenced by his performances with the La Salle Green Archers in the UAAP and with the gold medal-winning Gilas cadets in the 2015 Southeast Asian Games.
