Racal Motors joins ABL, brings Filipino teams to two

Another Filipino team has joined the ASEAN Basketball League, joining Manny Pacquiao’s team in the professional regional bastkeball league.

Racal Motors joined the Pacman Aguilas as the newest Filipino basketball teams in the ABL after the San Miguel Beermen and Philippine Patriots pulled out of the Southeast Asian league, a statement said.


Not only did Racal Motors join the ABL, it also submitted its letter of intent to the PBA.

Racal Group of Companies has teams in other basketball leagues with the Keramix Mixers playing in the PBA D-League and Racal Motors playing in the FilSports Basketball Association.


Jonito C. Racal, Racal Group of Companies Chairman, looks at the ABL to expand its market in the Southeast Asian region, the statement said.

Racal Motors will carry the name Racal Motors when the 2015 season tips off in October. CFC
