Parks locked on NBA dream, foregoes 2015 PBA Draft

With the deadline for the applications for the 2015 PBA Rookie Draft fast approaching, one prospect will not be joining the annual selection.
Ray Parks Jr. has opted to continue pursuit of the NBA dream and await training camp invites in the United States.

Player agent Charlie Dy confirmed that Parks won’t be among the names in the rich draft class.
“Yes, he’s not joining the (PBA) Draft,” he said in a text message to INQUIRER.net.

The son of the late Bobby Parks, who was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the third round of the 1984 NBA Draft, is hoping to follow his father’s footsteps.
Dy said that Parks is expecting to at least get training camp invites from three teams as he continues his individual workouts. CFC
