The fighting Pagara brothers, “Prince” Albert and Jason, leave for Dubai Friday to headline Duel in Dubai 2 set Aug. 7 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

The younger Albert will stake his International Boxing Federation junior featherweight title against Mexican Jesus Rios in the fight card’s lone 12-rounder while Jason tangles with Ramiro Alcaraz, also of Mexico, in a 10-rounder set at 142 lb.

In a lunch tendered by the organizing ALA International Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports Thursday, the Pagaras said they are excited to display their ring prowess abroad for the first time and will try to knock out their opponents before a predominantly OFW crowd.

Unbeaten in 23 fights with 16 knockouts, the 21-year-old Albert will be tested by Rios, 31, who is no pushover based on his 31-7-1, 25 knockouts, record.

The 23-year-old Jason (35-3, 22 KOs) also needs to be careful against southpaw Alcaraz (15-4, 9 KOs).

Trainer Edmundo Villamor said the Pagaras have prepared hard, even sparring with each other, to put up impressive performances and boost their bid for future training and fights in the United States.

Veteran Jimrex Jaca (39-8-4, 22 KOs)  battles another Mexican, Pablo Lugo Montiel (21-5, 17 KOs), in an eight-round light welterweight bout.

The Pagaras said they have watched the fights of their foes through YouTube.

Dubai-based Filipino Larry Abarra (3-2) collides with Indonesian Tony Arema (3-6-1) in another 122 lb eight-rounder.
