It’s more than a nickname.
When legendary WWE superstar “Rowdy” Roddy Piper passed away Saturday (Manila time), a similarly rambunctious fighter took his passing as a moving force and vows to bring it on the Octagon.

That fighter is “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey.
Rousey, one of Piper’s biggest fans, took to Instagram to show her grief and promised the former WWE Intercontinental Champion she would do justice to the “Rowdy” nickname come UFC 190.

“Thank you for the name…. And so much more…. Will do it justice and do you proud tomorrow…. This one’s for you Roddy….” Rousey posted.
Piper died of a heart attack during his sleep and his passing could be another drop of Rousey’s fuel against Bethe Correia as their match’s intensity turns a notch every passing day. IDL
