Defending champions Far Eastern University easily handled University of the Philippines, 25-20, 25-20, 25-19, in the Group Stages of the Shakey’s V-League Saturday at San Juan Arena.

FEU notched a 4-0 win-loss record in Group A and virtually grabbed a spot in the quarterfinals.

Guest player Jovelyn Gonzaga led FEU with 19 points, 14 coming off spikes, while Toni Basas added 11.

Maria Molde led the 2-2 UP with nine points. CFC
