Nuggets’ Farried, Spurs’ Green visit Manila for NBA 3X PH 2015

Denver Nuggets’ Kenneth Faried and San Antonio Spurs’ Danny Green are headed to Manila to grace the NBA 3X Philippines 2015 festivities from August 28 to 30.

First time visitors Faried and Green will help run clinics and interact with fans during the fifth installation of the NBA 3X events at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.

Joining the NBA standouts are Golden State Warriors dance team and Philadelphia 76ers mascot Franklin to liven up the competitions.

The three-day event will feature entertaining 3-on-3 competitions including a slam dunk content, three-point shootout, skills challenges and autograph sessions for fans.

“I’m excited to visit the Philippines for the first time to experience the culture and be part of the NBA 3X festivities,” said Faried in a statement.

“I look forward to meeting the fans and showing my support for the best Filipino basketball talents competing for pride and recognition on the big stage,” said Green.

The tournament will feature under-18, under-16, and under-13 divisions for boys, under-16 for girls and open categories for both men and women.

Registration for NBA 3X Philippines 2015 start on August 3 up until August 16. For more details, visit www.nba3x.com/philippines.

Registration fees for the age divisions are pegged at Php1,000 per team, while open divisions run at Php1,600 pesos per team.
