Talk ‘N Text forward Kelly Williams hurt his right knee just shortly after Gilas Pilipinas started its practice Monday night at Meralco Gym.

Williams injured his knee while participating in the drills.

The 33-year-old Williams stayed down on the floor for a few minutes while clutching his knee.

He had to be carried off the floor by Ranidel de Ocampo and was met by Gilas head coach Tab Baldwin at the sidelines.

Williams appeared to have slipped and de Ocampo said it could be a sprain.

“He was afraid to relax his knee. He’s obviously disappointed and concerned,” de Ocampo said in Filipino.

Williams was taken to the nearby Cardinal Santos Medical Center for tests. CFC
