Berto vows to kick Mayweather’s ass

Fighting words.

Few people have matched up with Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s yaps but his next, and probably last opponent, threw the first punch.

And it’s a power punch.

Andre Berto told BoxingScene.com he would knock out Mayweather on their September 12 fight to end Money’s win streak at 48.

“I’m coming to kick Floyd’s ass on September 12.  Best believe that I plan to bring it to Floyd and I’m not concerned about what 48 other fighters have been unable to do,” Berto said.

Mayweather’s last fight, against Manny Pacquiao, had all the hype of the world but failed miserably with analysts and boxers calling the so-called “Fight of the Century” a monumental dud.

Berto (30-3) vowed Mayweather’s (48-0) last fight would provide the fireworks.

“Somebody is getting knocked out and it won’t be me. You don’t want to miss this.”
