Fil-Chinese veterans out to dominate Asean seniors caging

BEEFED up by former PBA players, the Filipino-Chinese Veterans Basketball Association (FCVBA) hopes to dominate the 24th Asean Veterans Basketball Tournament when the annual seniors event starts on Tuesday in Kuching, Malaysia.

Leading the FCVBA bid in the three-division caging is the 2013 champion 60-above squad.

Former PBA and La Salle star Kenneth Yap and University of the East’s Julio Cruz will backstop the Eduard Tio-mentored 60s along with Rain or Shine co-team owner Terry Que, Jimi Lim, Johnny Chua, former Crispa player Bong dela Cruz, Ching Ka Lee, Zotico Tan, James Chua, Antonio Go, Danny Co and Israel Catacutan.
