Valley steps up WGAP drive
THE VALLEY ladies exploited their working knowledge of the rolling Antipolo layout, chalking up a victory in Class A and churning out a third place finish in Class B to bolster their drive after five legs of the Champion Infinity WGAP 2015 Circuit at the Valley Golf Club recently.
Inez Del Rosario and Jocelyn Sevilla came away with a pair of 41 Stableford points while Cielo Fregil and Belinda Del Rosario tossed in 37 and 33 points, respectively, as the host club pooled a 152 and beat Camp Aguinaldo by 12 in the circuit organized by Women’s Golf Association of the Philippines and presented by Champion Infinity.
Sta. Elena also boosted its own drive by ruling Class B, assembling a 133 to edge Tagaytay (132) by one with Valley finishing third with a 130.
Jennifer Ligones shot a 35, for Sta. Elena while Tagaytay drew 36 points from Bernadette Wong.
