Morada’s career game earns him NCAA Player of the Week plum
Emilio Aguinaldo College’s spitfire guard Remy Morada isn’t going to win the MVP trophy anytime now. But for just one special day, he looked and played like one.
It came last Friday when Morada’s heroics lifted the Generals to a shock 83-69 win over a Letran team that none could beat entering their Season 91 NCAA elimination round duel at The Arena in San Juan City.

Morada shone the brightest in the fourth quarter when he unleashed a 12-point barrage he highlighted a clutch four-point play that practically dashed the Knights’ hopes of a first round sweep.
He spiked his effort with 10 rebounds, three assists and a steal to help EAC nail a second straight win after starting the season with five losses in row.

What made the moment more special was Morada’s effort came exactly on a day his family was observing the first death anniversary of his late mother, Lilanie.
“This game is for her,” said Morada.
