ISAA starts season 7 with 8 schools Aug. 19

The Inter-Scholastic Athletic Association (ISAA) enters its seventh season on Aug. 19 with 8,000 students expected to flock to the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.

According to ISAA president Melanie Florentino, eight schools will compete in basketball, volleyball, badminton, swimming and table tennis.

The competing schools are Philippine Merchant Maritime School (PMMS), FEATI University, St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA), Manila Tytana Colleges, Manila Adventist Medical Center and Colleges (MAMCC), Philippine Women’s University (PWU), La Consolacion College of Manila (LCCM), and newcomer PATTS School of Aeronautics.

Former PBA star and ex-national player Ronnie Magsanoc will be the guest of honor during the opening rites set at 9 a.m.

A basketball triple-header pits host PMMS vs SDCA, LCCM against Tytana and PATTS vs PWU.
