Kevin Durant is set for a return to the hardcourt as he plans to practice with Team USA, a report said.
Durant’s agent, Rich Kleiman of ROC Nation Sports, and manager, Charlie Bell, told USA Today the 2014 NBA MVP would attend the Team USA minicamp in Las Vegas.
Durant only played 27 games during the 2014-2015 season due to a fracture in his right foot.
Team USA Managing Director Jerry Colangelo insisted, as per USA Today, any player who wants to be included of the 12-man lineup for the 2016 Rio Olympics should make an appearance in Las Vegas and Durant has always wanted to be part of the 2012 Olympic winners.
Durant, however, would not take part in the showcase game on Thursday (Las Vegas time) in Thomas & Mack Center.
