FCVBA teams win Malaysia

KUCHING, Malaysia — The Filipino-Chinese Veterans Basketball Association (FCVBA)  teams hurdled their opening games in the 24th ASEAN Seniors Basketball Tournament Tuesday here.

The FCVBA 60-years team bested Kuala Lumpur, 48-35,in Group B eliminations behind former La Salle ace Kenneth Yap. In the 50-years division, Jerry Gonzales fired 23 points as FCVBA  beat a Kuala Lumpur team, 62-56. FCVBA also won in the 40-years at Kinsar’s expense, 76-63.
