US football player Tim Tebow signs fan’s bible
Tim Tebow’s professional career might have suffered a fall from grace, but his faith still never waned.
That’s why when a fan eagerly asked the Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback to sign a Bible during the team’s training camp, he happily obliged.
Tebow’s faith has been well-documented ever since his days with the University of Florida.
A devout Christian, Tebow was outspoken about his faith and even made waves with “Tebowing,” when he kneeled on one knee and prayed with his head bowed, an arm resting on the bent knee and touching his bowed forehead.
The Bible autograph was just the latest of the interesting quirks that has surrounded Tebow ever since he turned pro in 2010.
The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner struggled to translate his collegiate game to the National Football League (NFL), switching teams from the Denver Broncos, the New York Jets, and the New England Patriots before being cut from the team in August 2013.
He was hired as a college football analyst by ESPN in December of the same year, calling games in the SEC Network, before returning to the field and joining the Eagles two years later. IDL
