Already admittedly behind in its preparations for the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship, Gilas Pilipinas gets its wheels rolling as the team departs for Estonia Monday night.

Coach Tab Baldwin held one final session Monday morning at Moro Lorenzo Gym in Ateneo.

Injured players like Ranidel de Ocampo and Terrence Romeo will be joining the week-long training camp that would pit the nationals against Estonia, Iceland and Netherlands.

Coaching staff members Alex Compton, Jong Uichico and Josh Reyes will be with Baldwin in the sidelines.

They are set to return home on August 24.

The team then leaves for Taiwan for the Jones Cup, back to PH on September 7 for the MVP Cup before departing for Changsha, China on September 20.

“We anticipate that there won’t be any problems, but we’re cautious with our expectations,” said Baldwin.

Team manager Butch Antonio said that the visas for the delegation were released on Monday afternoon.

Gilas will be on two flights, one at 7:45 p.m. and the other at 9 p.m.
