Jumbo Cup: CKSC whips UE for 2nd straight win

Defending champion Chiang Kai Shek College notched its second straight win with a 102-66 drubbing of University of the East in the 2nd PCABL Jumbo Plastic Linoleum Cup held over the weekend at Philippine Buddhacare Academy gym in Quezon City.

Donn Lim scattered 24 points, including 12 in the first half that saw the Blue Dragons surge ahead for good, 50-36, at halftime.

They scored 32 more points in the fourth as CKSC improved to 2-1 in the tournament presented by Jumbo Plastic Linoleum.

National U outlasted Far Eastern U, 79-61, in a showdown between unbeaten teams in the event also sponsored by Smart Telecom, Advance Solutions Inc., Hapee Toothpaste, Fed Seal, Powerhouse, CW Home Depot and Powerbest Marketing.
