Love triangle eyed in MMA champion killing

The police is eyeing a love triangle as one of the motives in the fatal shooting of mixed martial artist Ale Cali last Sunday.

Cali, 25, was gunned down by unknown motorcycle-riding suspects in Davao City.

“It might be a case of love triangle or have something to do with his business,” said Davao City police director Vicente Danao in a report on Fight News Asia.

“It’s probably that he had hurt someone, who naturally wanted to hurt him back also,” said Danao.
