Silva-Hunt 2 eyed for UFC 193

A rematch of one of the UFC’s greatest heavyweight may set to unravel in the land down under.

According to the website of MMA Fighting, the rematch between Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva and Mark Hunt could be slated for UFC 193 on Nov. 14 in Melbourne, Australia.

The same website added the rematch is not yet official as the UFC has yet to announce the final venue.

Hunt and Silva first fought in December 2013 in a five-rounder which ended in a majority draw (47-47, 47-47, 48-47) leaving both fighters bloodied.

Silva, however, failed his post-fight drug test which revealed elevated doses of testosterone.

Hunt (10-10-1) had a title shot for the interim UFC World Heavyweight Championship back in UFC 180 but lost to eventual undisputed champion Fabricio Werdum.

Silva (19-7-1), on the other hand, snapped his four-fight winless streak on UFC 190 taking out Soa Palelei, Hunt’s training partner, via second-round technical knockout. RAM
