PRINCESS Superal settled for eighth place with a closing one-over 75 in the Ladies British Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship won by India’s Aditi Ashok at Moortown Golf Club in Alwoodley, England Friday.
Superal moved up joint fifth with a gutsy one-under 73 in morning play but was marred by bogeys in the last two holes for a 37-38.
The ICTSI-The Country Club team spearhead had a total of 297, 12 strokes off Ashok who had a 71 for 285 and a five-shot win over Olivia Mehaffey (71).
Over in California, Pauline del Rosario and Bernice Olivarez-Ilas ruled the Willowick Summer Championship over the weekend.
Del Rosario ruled the premier 14-18 age bracket while Olivarez-Ilas topped the 12-13 contest.
