“The Deadman” got his redemption against Brock Lesnar, emerging as the victor in the controversial main event of WWE SummerSlam Monday (Manila time) at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Referee Charles Robinson was unable to see The Undertaker tapping on Lesnar’s Kimura lock, but the timekeeper rung the bell which caused the confusion in the ring.

With the referee’s back turned, The Undertaker hit the former UFC heavyweight champion with a low blow and applied his Hell’s Gate submission hold, choking the air out of his opponent. A defiant Lesnar gave The Undertaker a middle finger before passing out to end the match.

As the show came to a close, Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman relented to accept the defeat and reiterated that Lesnar is the true winner of the match.

It has been a rivalry that has been brewing since Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s 21-match winning streak in WrestleMania XXX last year.
