Jon Stewart helps Seth Rollins in WWE winner-take-all

He’s not a controversial host for nothing.

WWE SummerSlam host Jon Stewart interjected himself in the title-for-title match of Seth Rollins and John Cena and helped the WWE champion Rollins come away with the victory Monday (Manila time) at Barcalys Center in Brooklyn.

Stewart interfered near the conclusion of the match, bringing a steel chair and acting to attack Rollins.

But the former Today Show host surprised the Brooklyn crowd when he struck Cena instead.

The blow on Cena’s body helped Rollins deliver a pedigree on the chair.

The win enabled Rollins to be the first man to hold the WWE title and the United States title, as well as denying Cena of tying legend Ric Flair of being a 16-time world champion.
