Filipino Katharina Lehnert bowed to Greek qualifier Valentini Grammatikopoulou, 7-6 (7-2), 6-3, Sunday in the women’s singles finals of the $10,000 Parker Hannifin Open tennis championships in Oldenzaal, Netherlands.

Lehnert, 21, failed in her bid to win her third ITF title but her runner-up finish is expected to boost her ranking from a current 624th.

The Greek, who is ranked 466th in the world, thus won her third ITF title.

Lehnert, the pillar of the Philippine team to the Southeast Asian Games, had an impressive run in the tourney which included beating former World No. 7 Patty Schnyner of Switzerland in the quarterfinals (1-6, 7-5, 7-5).
