Spikers’ Turf: Generals down Maroons to bolster semis bid
Emilio Aguinaldo College handily defeated University of the Philippines, 25-17, 25-23, 25-16, to bolster its semifinals bid alive in the Spikers’ Turf Collegiate Conference Monday at Arena in San Juan.
Howard Mojica carried the scoring cudgels anew with 18 points including four aces and a block for the Generals, who arrested a three-game slide for a 3-3 card.
The Maroons further slid to 1-4 after giving away 30 points off errors while only managing 27 points off kills.

Unbeaten squads Ateneo and National University are already assured of the first two semifinal seats with similar 5-0 records.
