“I have devoted 20 years of my life and put in most hours in a day sweating and grinding to be the best I can be in the sport I love the most. From playing in a makeshift courts on the streets to taking it in the main stage, I was molded, honed, and defined an made to be the person I am today. There were a lot of hardships, struggles, dark times at the same time a ton of happy moments, glorious times and milestone of achievements along the way. The most important of them all are the people who have criticized me, challenged me, hated me – I have a lot to thank you for. To those who I have met, who did follow my humble beginnings, who believed in my capabilities, who put me up when I was down – I owe everything to you! I believe the best is yet to come and I trust the Lord for whatever purpose he will lead me to in years to come. Most certainly, I will continue to be His instrument in helping the youth reach their dreams in the gawme of basketball. From my heart to yours, MARAMING SALAMAT!” Tang’s post read.
