There seems to be some drama, staged or not, every time Shane Mosely and Ricardo Mayorga are in the same room.

After the two scuffled during a press conference in Los Angeles earlier this month, both fighters were again making boxing headlines when they met during another pre-fight presser.

And this time, it’s Mayorga who did the slapping.

In a video posted by roundbyroundboxing.com on its Instagram account, a fight nearly broke out after Mayorga slapped Mosley’s girlfriend, Trista Pisani, on her rear as she bent over near the Nicaraguan.

The 43-year-old Mosley and Pisani, an actress, went after Mayorga, who would later explain his action.

“I didn’t do it because she’s beautiful or I like her. I did it to mess with him (Mosley),” Mayorga told @rbrboxing in a separate video on Instagram.

In their previous press conference, Mayorga blew smoke on Mosley’s face and the former three-division world champion ended up swiping the cigarette off Mayorga’s mouth.

Mosley and Mayorga are fighters way past their primes and both are coming out of retirement to meet in the ring for the second time on Saturday.

The 43-year-old Mosley scored a last-second stoppage in the final round of their first bout in 2008.
