LEAGUE champion Ceres-La Salle moved on the cusp of a sweep of United Football League titles this season after nipping Loyola Meralco, 1-0, Tuesday night in the semifinals of the UFL Cup at Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Irish midfielder Orman Okunaiya rifled home a well-placed shot  from the edge of the box in the 70th minute as the Bacolod powerhouse moved on to face Kaya in the finals set at 8:15 p.m. tomorrow.

Kaya rallied from two goals down in the second half before edging Stallion, 5-4, on penalties after regulation and extra time ended in a 3-3 stalemate.
