A lone star lifted Perlas Pilipinas in the clutch over North Korea, 68-67, in the Fiba Asia Women’s Championship in Wuhan, China.
Andy Resultay completed Perlas’ 6-0 run in the final minute as the Filipinos captured their first win.
Down 65-62, Resultay converted two three-point plays with a rebound putback effort putting the Philippines up 68-66 with 40 seconds left in the game.
Resultay finished with 14 points to share the scoring burden with Allana Lim who had 14 points and eight rebounds.
