THE NATIONAL Duathlon Championships 2015 set in Cebu City on Sept. 12 will be open to participants of all ages.
The run-bike-run event, with divisions ranging from the SuperTri Kids (STK) to the elite level, also features several course distances at host venues Lantaw South Road Properties, ILCorso and Filinvest Land.
“We have been organizing triathlon events in various parts of Cebu for a long time,” said Boying Durano Rodriguez, chair of the Danao Sports Commissions and board member of the Triathlon Association of the Philippines.
The two-day race starts with the 10K run-40K bike-5K run as the centerpiece event and the shorter 5K run-20K bike-2.5K run and 2K run-10K bike-2.5K run distances.
The inter-club registration closes on Sept. 7, while the STK, age-group, mini-sprint, junior elite and elite registrations end Sept. 9
Entry fees are set at P2,500 (standard), P2,000 (sprint and mini sprint) and P1,000 (STK). Jasmine W. Payo
