FEU duo leads Perlas in third straight win

Perlas Pilipinas continued its sensational run in the 2015 FIBA Asia Women’s Championship Level II, beating Hong Kong, 75-62, for its third straight win on Tuesday in Wuhan, China.

It was Allana Lim’s turn to take the spotlight, leading the cagebelles with 20 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

Fellow FEU Lady Tamaraw Camille Sambile also chipped in a double-double with 19 markers and 10 boards.

Perlas fired a 10-0 tear to open the second quarter which opened the game at 26-15, and even saw the national women’s team lead by as much as 24.

At 3-1, Perlas has now tied itself for the top spot in Level II with Kazakhstan, its opponent on Wednesday.
