Howard Mojica sizzled anew and towed Emilio Aguinaldo College to the semifinals of the Spikers’ Turf Season 1 Collegiate Conference with a four-set victory over La Salle, 25-23, 23-25, 25-20, 26-24, Wednesday at San Juan Arena.

The reigning NCAA MVP pummeled the Green Archers with 35 points, 28 from kills, five service aces, and two blocks to score the Generals’ fourth win.

Israel Encina also got 11, while Hariel Doguna chipped in 10 for EAC (4-3), which joined Ateneo and National University in the Final Four.

Arjay Onia led La Salle (3-4) with 16 points, 13 of which from spikes, while Cris Dumago had 13.

The Green Archers can force a playoff for the last semis berth if National College of Business Arts loses to University of the Philippines in the final match of the quarterfinals.
